Pat Clarke Art Exhibition

26 October - 28 November 2026

Exhibition at Brading Roman Villa

26th October – 28th November

Brading Roman Villa is delighted to welcome back Isle of Wight artist Pat Clarke, whose exhibition celebrates a lifelong passion for art, imagination and creativity.

Pat has enjoyed an extensive artistic career and was formerly a member of the Royal Miniature Society, the Free Painters and Sculptors Society, and the International Society for the Art of Imagination.

Over the years, Pat has exhibited widely, both in the UK and internationally, with work shown in America, Germany, Denmark and Switzerland, including at the prestigious Geiger Museum. Of course, London has also featured in Pat’s exhibition journey.

Pat has been exhibiting at Brading Roman Villa for several years and, as Pat says, it is always a pleasure to return and share their work with visitors to this very special historic venue.

This exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to discover Pat’s artistic journey and enjoy a collection of work by an artist whose experience and enthusiasm for creativity have taken them to galleries and exhibitions both at home and abroad.

Whether you are a regular visitor to Brading Roman Villa, an art enthusiast, or simply looking for something a little different to enjoy, we warmly invite you to come along and experience the exhibition.

A note for visitors planning a special journey:

If you are travelling specifically to visit this exhibition, we kindly recommend contacting Brading Roman Villa Museum before setting out to check that the exhibition room will be open. From time to time, the room is hired out for meetings and other events, and access to the exhibition may therefore be temporarily unavailable. Please call 01983 406223

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, an additional way to support the museum is by using Gift Aid.

We are able to claim Gift Aid on pay once, visit all year tickets. When you book online or buy your ticket at the museum, we will ask you if you are a UK taxpayer and if you are happy for us to claim Gift Aid on your ticket purchase. As a registered charity, this means we can claim an additional 25p on every £1 which makes a real difference to Brading Roman Villa Trust’s work to continue to protect and conserve the site for the future. All you need to do is give your permission when you buy your ticket. So, if you purchase a family ticket and select Gift Aid, we can claim £9.75 from the government.

By allowing us to claim Gift Aid, you are declaring that you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.
